About Me
Lover of florals, colour + textures, fluffy jackets. And most of all my husband Jacob, daughter Sadie, family & my pets!
At age 16 I started an apprenticeship in Floristry encouraged by my mum that the career would be perfect for me. She was correct, I loved it from day one. By 20 I met the absolute love of my life Jacob (Mr Perfect), who happened to be the flower wholesaler.
2016 was the opening of my all time favourite florist WHIMSY with Jacob’s family. A boutique florist + homeware store in North Hobart. A florist which I spend most of my time in creating, inspiring and most importantly having fun. On top of doing daily florals I do weddings and events all year round.


Behind the name - The Flower People .
On the eve of our very own wedding, Jaocb and I were installing the floral installations talking about how everyone thought we were crazy for doing it ourselves. But we didn’t think anything of it. Flowers are who we are and what we do. “Flowers are our thing”.
